We are currently holding clinics for vaccination against HPV, females born between 1 September 1990 and 31 August 1991 should already have received an invite letter and additional information.
The vaccine (Cervarix) offers protection from Papilloma (wart) virus types 16/18 (which are the cause of most cervical cancers)
All 17 & 18 year olds vaccinated will be offered a follow up appointment in 2 & 6 months to complete a course of three vaccinations. Please contact the surgery if you are within this age group and you would like to be vaccinated and have not already made an appointment for your first vaccination.
